POM Self Lubricating Sliding Bearings Split Boundary Plain Journal Bearing
1. Product Description
POM Self Lubricating Sliding Bearings Split Boundary Plain Journal Bearing are designed for marginal lubricating bushing. It is backed with copper-plated steel with porous bronze sintered on it and polymers (POM) imbedded into the bores of the bronze. The steel back provides the products with high quality low carbon steel. Oil dents stamped on the surface of the polymer can achieve good lubrication between the bushing and its mating axis. It is of good anti-abrasion and load capalility. The plating coating on the surface is erosion protective. And it is environmental protective as no lead included in the surface polymer POM.

3. Application
POM Self Lubricating Sliding Bearings Split Boundary Plain Journal Bearing are widely used in mining machinery, metallurgical machinery, automotive chassis etc.
4. Advantages
It has good physical & mechanical properties and certainly chemical properties. This material has good machining performance if required. Suitable for rotating and oscillating movement, less maintenance requirements due to the long re-lubrication intervals, lower wear, lower susceptibility to edge loading, no absorption of water and therefore no swelling, good damping behaviours, good resistance to shock loads. Recommended for applications involving intermittent operation or boundary lubrication.
